Water, 30.5 - 1.9
Welcome to our new home at Bantorget 4
After six years on Klostergatan 11, Kliger Gallery has found a new home at Bantorget 4, in the very heart of Lund, where we now share the space with architecture firm Jakobsson Pusterla.
To celebrate the move and welcome the summer, we open with the group exhibition Water — bringing together four photographic artists who each explore and interpret water as symbol, experience and visual language, in entirely different ways: Mats Reslow, Dan Isaac Wallin, Gabriel Isak and Asaf Kliger.

Dan Isaac Wallin
Dan Isaac Wallin is a photographer and artist who grew up in Stenungsund on Sweden's west coast. An innovator working with analogue techniques in a digital age, his dreamlike, timeless images are exhibited in galleries in Sweden and abroad. His work ranges from the personal to the large-scale — from reflections on the childhood landscapes of Bohuslän to portraits of rock stars and adventurers. Nature, time and attraction run throughout his art.

Interior Design
Mats Reslow is a photographer based in the Skåne countryside of southern Sweden. He has devoted his whole life to abstract art and painting, and in 2016 he discovered his passion for photography. He explores the forests and coastal landscapes near his home — places such as Torupsskogen and Häckeberga — returning to the same locations across different seasons, weather and light. His fine art photographs are available as limited editions.

Asaf Kliger
Asaf Kliger is the founder of Kliger Gallery, an artist, and the house photographer at Icehotel in Lappland. His work revolves around water in all its forms — from still, long-exposure Skåne coastlines to ice and snow in the far north. His work has been shown at art fairs in New York, Toronto and Amsterdam. For Asaf, water is not just a landscape, but a state of mind.

Gabriel Isak
Gabriel Isak was born in Huskvarna and is based in Stockholm. He graduated in photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2016, and has since held solo exhibitions in Shanghai, Paris, Los Angeles and Sweden — including at Moderna Museet in Stockholm and Falsterbo Photo Art Museum, where his work is part of the permanent collection. His surreal, melancholic images explore psychology, dreams and solitude. This is the first time he exhibit at Kliger Gallery.
